Precious One Along The Path Of Awakening Through Wholeness…

ilg uses a Tibetan Tinksha Bell twice during each yoga class…here are the Traditional reasons why…

the first single ring is done to purify the space for all students, be they seasoned Practitioners or first-timers…the intricacies of the Vibration, Resonance, and Sound of the first strike informs the Teacher -much more effectively than if done by words – of the overall vibrational state of the collective class which dials in the intuitive choreography of the Teacher.

after class is finished,  the Teacher then strikes the Tinksha again,  three times, instead of one, symbolizing devotion to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha (or Vishnu, Shiva, Brahman, or the elemental Rajas, Sattva, Tamas,  or the MahaYoga Christ version of:  Father, Son, (W)Holy Ghost.

to the seasoned yogi attuned to the clarity of sound vibration,  and especially to the Teacher,  the difference between the opening and the closing tonality of the Tinksha rings is a telltale training effect of the classes veracity.

thank you for your questions..the Highest Students, ask the Highest Questions…
