Humble Student BG is going to "Pull an ilg" for Mt. Baldy

Noble Coach,
You beat H-Ball in Colorado! Humbled you may have been but I am proud of your efforts on your knobby-tired Yoga studio.

I am three weeks out from the Mt. Baldy event and I am not going to be able to make it. Work is conspiring once again to keep me away. Rather than looking at this as a negative, I have chosen to “pull an Ilg”. The following week I will do the run solo. My “aid station” carried on my back. I will have hours of solitude and the fun of dancing back down the mountain rather than taking the lift.

With so little time to prepare, I’m not going to have the full benefit of the “Mountain Running” program you recommended but I’ll make do with what I have:)

Thank you for the beautiful words these past few days. They will fuel me the weeks to come.
