From a Buddhist point of view, the actual experience of death is very important. Although how or where we will be reborn is generally dependent on karmic forces, our state of mind at the time of death can influence the quality of our next rebirth. So at the moment of death, in spite of the great variety of karmas we have accumulated, if we make a special effort to generate a virtuous state of mind, we may strengthen and activate a virtuous karma, and so bring about a happy rebirth.

THE DALAI LAMA

***
There are no difficulties in vairagya
there are only difficulties in your attachments to the Outer World.

Those warriors skilled in vairagya,
look upon the comings and goings of their Outer World in the way
a Film Editor looks at Dailies; dispassionately viewing all the footage
while constantly searching for baggage to cut out;
delete most of the stuff; keep only that which moves the process Higher.

ilg is coaching you to:
Dry up your attachments to EnterTainment
and turn on the Original Yoga of InnerAttainment!
Find Yoga everywhere for Yoga is in everything a skilled Warrior sees;
reduce Drama,
increase Pranayama.

Learn to dwell frequently and skillfully in your Inner World,
and be non-attached in your Outer World. Doing so will bring
superior skillfulness to your Outer World dealings; with your children,
your partner, your job, and all the highs-and-lows that characterize
the roller coaster ride of a Human Incarnation.

Without non-attachment and contain-liency (continence)
there cannot be progress made up the Steep and Direct Path
of spiritual ascension.

We do not get to keep anything; not our house, not our children, not our Parents, nor our money, not even our contact lenses.

Impermanence is the only Truth of the Outer World,
Divinity is the only Truth of the Inner World…

Which one, Noble Warrior, are you skillfully cultivating with
Steadfast Practice of equanimity?

There is a Reason why the Masters teach us to visualize all our family
dying.

Karmic Loops are Karmic Loops…
to say that a Human Being who dies at age 17 is somehow “worse” than
a Human Being dying at age 71 is absurd.
That is like saying dropping deeper into a yoga posture
than somebody else is better…ridiculous! It’s the Inner Experience,
the PROCESS that Matters!!! not the length of a life or the depth of a yoga posture!

C’mon Warriors!
SHED THYSELF of your pre-conditioned views of life!

Cultivate Meditation; learn how to engage Sushumna so Meditation goes deep, fast!
Cultivate your Practice of Inner Workouts!
Seek Within; forego outer Travel and turn thy senses INWWARD!
Prepare steadfastly for your Last Gasp
so it is less than a Gasp
and more
of a poetic
Release
into Dewachen

photo #3; Grandma ilg and Dewa reading. Dewa already has superb Radial/Palmar motor skill coordination; She turns all the pages by using her thumb and can ‘palm grip’ Her milk bottle…She can stand with support and hold concentration far better than most ‘grown ups.’ Being fed through Ananda’s breast milk the SUNRIDER Herbs and MAP Amino Acids has greatly accelerated Dewa’s physiologic command stream. Though She only eats about half of what typical American babies eat, Her mood is always happy and Her energy is Lightfull. there are no kaphic tendencies whatsoever in Dewa’s constitution; She is as Clear and Awake as the little Light that She is…in other words, so far, so go(o)d…
