click on pics to enlarge, then schedule your Private Intensive! We can’t wait to
host you beneath the Sacred Peak! all photos by myself unless otherwise noted.

when i got word that i had to move my new family, including 11 month-old Dewachen, out of our beautiful “Two Tree Manor,” intensification of meditation, visualization, and Prayers to Brahman as well as the strength of my Sangha’s love to provide sure did manifest…in less then 30 days, we were out of Two Tree Manor and tucked into our new ‘palace in the pines,’ 10 kilometers closer to the Sacred Peak, 300′ higher in elevation, and absolutely ensconced in what feels to my cells, the most luscious prana (life force) on Turtle Island…

the red balloon shows our distance from the town of Flagstaff shown bottom right in GPS pic; we’re about 10 miles northwest on Highway 180; the route to the Grand Canyon.

now the red balloon shows that our new home sits right at the base of A-1 Mountain (8,300′) on the shores of a pre-historic lake. Oodles and oodles of singletrack (including Flag’s steepest hillclimbs right behind our home!) ski trails and forest roads which abound with elk, pronghorn antelope, deer, mountain lion, bear, and coyotes provide the starlight serenade each stunning evening.

we’ll start our Tour with what matters most; our proximity to Doko Oosliid; Mt. Humphreys…Arizona’s Highest Peak at 13,611’….the alpine ski area is a mere 7 miles from our back door…

Jnana Mudra…the yogic ‘Gesture of Wisdom’ with “Doko” in the background…

during monsoon season, we get to watch the rolling thunderheads perform their majesty and music as they parade across the Sacred Peak…

rainbows, like this one, commonly bring scintillating closure to summer afternoon showers and usher in the next daily spectacle for the human soul; a southwest mountain sunset.

Father Sky warms cloudcaps upon the Sacred Peak nearly each morning…

yesterday: view from my Temple H(om)e office…now you can understand why the Dharma flies so easily from my humble keyboard right into your cells! i love living here, raising my new Clan here, and it is my Prayer that you benefit from my Happy Abode…i rode with my bicycle racing team up and into the changing aspens upon the Sacred Peak; utterly, unspeakably beautiful!!! Oh how feeble ilg so loves autumn!!!

let’s see,
now, let me provide for you the layout of the three different homes which make up our ranch at the auspicious address of Raven Road (along with Wolf, Raven is one of my two Animal Totems). the little meadow-hamlet that we live in, is referred to as “Baderville,” named after a man who first settled this lake/meadowland and who just recently passed away. Of course, i now refer to this amazing hamlet as, “BuddhaVille!”

okay, so, you hang a left right after the above signpost, and you enter our Ranch…it looks like this:

if you enlarge this pic of what i call our “LegoLand”, the three buildings of LegoLand can be seen; the Boathouse is on the left, the SchoolHouse right in front, and our home is uphill on the right…

now, the charming little house directly in front looks like this from our house:

currently a couple; scientists, live there…it’s absolutely exquisite inside and Dewa loves the grass in their front yard for Walking Practice!

this is the Boathouse and includes “The Apartment”. The Apartment is where you can stay if you wish, during your WF Retreat or Intensive. Two WF Students have already stayed here and have expounded on the charm of it…i’ll provide a detailed look at this Apartment for you all in a later DL…in case you are wondering why it’s called the ‘Boathouse’ it’s because the great guy that owns this land (22 acres) and these three homes as well as his up on the hill behind us, is a famous old Grand Canyon River Runner who has authored books on Grand Canyon birdlife and environment…he actually wrote one of his books in the Apartment. when he organizes his River Expeditions, the Boathouse becomes abuzz of activity.

…and this is (y)our new Temple H(om)e called, ‘3-Chi Manor.’

this overview shot is taken from the hillside right in front of us which i am already grooming to become “3-Chi Ski Hill,” as soon as the snow falls!

wow…this is taking a lot of time!
okay, i gotta git back to coaching.
tomorrow our tour will continue with the grounds and a peak inside our Ski Lodge Home!
see you then,
and May Your Practice be Blessed…
and Respect Mother Earth and our Father Sky;
leave a light carbon footprint today as best as you can
and don’t forget to use your NonDominant Hand as part of your
ongoing training in WF Lifestyle Principle #1; Breath and Posture!

it feels go(o)d to share my Clan’s new h(om)e with you…
