Last evening before yet another fantastic HP PROP WORKOUT at the Northern Arizona Yoga Center, i awarded two outstanding HP Yogi’s for their exceptional devotion and stalwart spirit and consistency. Kiari Luther took over the top spot on the HP Yoga podium from 2007 HP Yogi of the Year; Leslie Hutchinson. Kiari, who also Serves the WF Temple as my Personal Assistant, is absolutely flawless in that single most important factor of any sadhana; Abhyasa or consistency of Practice. Kiari is an Animal Care Provider (my term for a ‘pet sitter’) and a massage therapist.

Andrew Frost, as mentioned above, is an elite outdoor/extreme athlete cut from the same mold as myself. He is married to a beautiful former gymnastic champion, Celia, and have an adorable chi-ld, Rowan, who was born 9 days after Dewa. Within weeks of Rowan’s birth, the young couple experienced two weeks of having Rowan in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit…where Celia works! Having been there a few days with Dewa, Joy and i felt deeply moved by their situation. Andrew had approached me for coaching counsel for an extreme mountaineering adventure to take place in May, 2009. Their hospital stay with Rowan ate up the funds for my coaching fees, so i rang the Temple Gong, asking for WF Sponsorship monies for Andrew. A handful of WF Devotees stepped up and answered the Gong; you know who you are; THANK YOU! Last night, i was able to offer Andrew a WF Gift Package including a 5-month scholarship to help his training for his extreme route; the “Denali Diamond”, a terrifying route that has only seen 4 other successful ascents! We’ll be monitoring Andrew’s training in DL.

out of the class of 20 attending last night’s fiercely fun PROP WORKOUT in the Practice Cave, it was very cool that Leslie, Kiari, and Andrew were all in attendance…

if WF-trained spiritual athletes know anything,
