ilg realizes that you – like myself – are on the “good guy mailing list” and get constantly prodded, hounded, and sometimes downright pounded for your dinero to support the Whales whose skin is blistering from global warming, the polar bears last stand on the fragile and ever thinning ice sheets…and then, well, there’s that whole Haiti Cholera thang…ooooh, the Suffering.
well, ilg humbly is gonna ring our Temple Gong and visualize you spending just a few bucks to support the causes of these two Angels-masking-as-students-of-mine…remember them from my Snow Running entry last month? These two Precious Tribal Sisters came up to Durango from Flag to train with me for a couple of days:
that’s my Online Student and Devotee, Julie “PY” Mueller taking the pull from my other precious and stalwart Temple Supporter and Student, Chris Kasar. ilg is honored to present both of their Quests and most importantly, ilg asks that you support their Noble Causes as part and parcel of your WF Tithing Practice…time is short for these two so follow through right now, okay?
Student Kasar’s Quest is first:

and now, PY’s plea:
Dear Friends,
As all of you know, I enjoy riding my bike in northern Arizona! Many of you may recall me asking for assistance with the El Tour de Tucson Ride for A Child program last year, where I rode 109 miles to raise funding to sponsor a children’s center in AZ. I finished El Tour in 6 hours and 32 minutes last year—thus receiving a “gold” medal, just 32 minutes shy of getting “Platinum” status.
It was so much fun last year, and I received so much support, that I am going to do this again, on Saturday, November 20th–going for the Platinum!!!
I am riding for a new and bigger cause this year, and I am once again asking for donations. My dear friend and hiking partner, Chris Kassar, is climbing the three tallest peaks in Africa in three weeks to raise awareness about the 3 biggest issues facing Africa today—Environment, Health, and Education. Instead of asking for donations for only one child this year, I am asking you to sponsor me in honor of her cause. Chris is paying for her entire expedition cost herself—every dollar you donate is tax deductible and goes DIRECTLY to help children in need. No donation is too small—just $10 pays a stipend for a community health worker in Africa for a month!
It’s easy and fast to donate. Simply visit:
http://www.firstgiving.com/chriskassar
OR, you can mail me check made out to “Save the Rhino International”—my home address is:
110 E. Dale Ave #2
Flagstaff, AZ 86001
Our goal is to raise $10 for each of the 109 miles I ride—sponsor me for 1 mile, or sponsor me for 10! Remember no contribution is too small (or too large)!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me: juliemariemueller@yahoo.com or Chris: chris.kassar@gmail.com
With love and gratitude,
Julie
