Grants, New Mexico –

Hanuman was HOWWWWLING today on the 28th Annual Mt. Taylor Winter Quadrathlon…summit winds were over 80 mph….

Just down from the Mountain and Dana Shinn and i defended my Mixed Pairs Title by a pressure-cooked 4 minutes with a time of 4 hours, 40 minutes…

many Sacred BattleDances to share from a SURREAL day!  However,  WF Warrioress Julie Mueller,  first timer at Mt. Taylor and doing it SOLO without even knowing how to cross country ski is still out there….i’m taking off now to go find her…i am praying she is okay…there were cyclists being blown in the ditches like wicked witches with brooms gone bad….as Dana text’d me of our victory while i was still on the  Sacred Peak;

1st Place Mixed Pairs!  We DID It!  Winds on bike EPIC!!!!

i’ve done this race a LOT of times,  well over a dozen by now, and never have i seen winds like these…

more later, off to search for my Precious Warrioress Student!

THANK YOU ALREADY FOR ALL THE TEXTS!!!!    HOW DID Y’ALL HEAR!?!

complete Race Report coming soon for WF.com Members!

    Precious Brothers,
    let ilg re-Mind you and all others huddled out there in the periphery of our Tribal Firelight….ilg is absolutely nothing and on my Highest Medicine Days…like last Saturday at Tzidool…ilg is exactly that; NOTHING…nothing enough to receive the Mountain Goddesses divine power and let that Power animate my effort…

    love to all who choose to sweat,
    feeble ilg
