so, in my ever inept avidya, i foolishly attempted to test the wisdom of our 4 year-old Rinpoche after she finished another one of her astonishingly creative self-choreographed asana sequence;
“So Daughter?”
“Yes, Daddy?”
“Should yoga come from our Mind or from our Heart?”
without hesitation, She replied,
“Daaaady,” she responded in a tone of voice that suggested Daddy was a bit of a simpleton, “both.”

She, of course, was right. ilg is a simpleton.  and a simpleton that is absolutely thrilled She got her Intuitive Yogic Sequencing Skill Set from her m(om) and not me…although, ilg must admit, tonights Slow Flow was freakin’ Divine!  wish you were there, if you weren’t!

just had to share this precious piece of Spruce i split the other day…i mean, i’ve chopping, cutting through a few cords over these past few weeks, yet when i laid the 8lb Sledge Ax through this guy?  i just had to stop, stare, smell, and marvel…and take a pic for you all.   look at the Heart Vein…that is where the yogic term “Rasas” or the Essence came from; the very Heart Vein of the Tree of Yoga…how ’bout those lines, the colors, the stately cartography of growth?  yum.  Miracles are everywhere…
