Noble Sangha,
here is my letter to Nick at OUTSIDE Magazine who probably was not even born yet when my May, 1992 cover feature hit the newstands… ilg says it’s about time to revisit that feature which singlehandedly transformed not only the lives of many outdoor athletes, yet also Shifted the entire outdoor fitness community to embrace a more spiritual approach to training…please,  write a letter to the Editor of OUTSIDE MAGAZINE at:  nick@nickheil.com

and tell him; WE WANT ILG ON THE COVER FOR A 20th ANNIVERSARY ISSUE!

Most Precious Nick!

you told me to keep you updated…well,  how about 10 podiums in 10 races this winter, including 3 Overall Victories, and a new course record in a
winter quadrathlon;  age 50, with a 4 year-old…plus…

hec,  i’ll even grow a Mullet and re-visit the Neon Tights for the Anniversary Issue!

can they even live one week of an Ilg lifestyle still crankin’ at age 50?!?!
send a reporter up here to Durango to re-visit and live a week in the life of Ilg…

    remember back in the day when John Bachar or one of those free soloing studs offered $10k to anyone who could follow them through one week of their lives? we should do the same thing…but in WF…follow ilg for a week and win money! if you can! we need to find someone willing to put up the money!
    that would be hilarious and inspiring…
