Ha = Sun
Tha = Moon
Yoga = Union
Most yogic rituals and practices – such as my EMR – are designed to balance, support, and nourish our innate solar/lunar frequencies to safely conduct the Kundalini or the Cosmic Power within us toward Transformation and eventual Enlightenment…tonight’s Supermoon is a great Blessing to yogis…here’s why…
pic of last night’s nearly Supermoon by ilg
Grandmother, last night, out our humble Temple H(om)e door. To most Native Turtle Islander’s, tonight’s moon is known as the Full Flower Moon…probably because, May -in most areas- flowers are abundant and resplendent everywhere during this time. I know Durango however, at our 6,514′, things are just beginning to crank; the lilac’s are insanely beautiful, for instance, perfuming our pranic, river-punched air with a perfume seemingly Divine. Other names include the Full Corn Planting Moon, or the Milk Moon.
However, tonight’s Full Flower Moon is special; super DOOPER special, for Grandma will don her brightest garb since March 19, 2011 and she’ll shine her brightest illumination of the year tonight. She’ll be soooo close to Mother Earth that the intervening 221,802 miles separating them will be like a cosmic butterfly kiss! If you think that many miles is a lot, give pause. It’s 15,300 miles closer than average and just slightly longer than how far i rode my bike today (kidding.)
Tonight is an auspicious m(om)ent for those of us who enjoy Meditation beneath the Divine Canopy…just beware, sea-level friends, Grandma unusual position will invite equally unusual high tides…and perhaps a few scintillating effects upon our chakral and other energetic vortices within our mostly-watery bodies!
