Noble Sangha,
a new Sacred Water student wondered at the beefiness of the ASEA water bottles…i thought it had something to do with the need to prevent possible UVA light from destabilizing the molecules…so, i asked Bob S,  our upline…below is his response…(BTW:  the Asea Bottles AND Pouches are recyclable,  YEAH!):

ilg and ASEA; the Sacred Water of WF!  there is no WAY my Race Results would be what they are, let alone my own Sadhana of WF without ASEA!   if you are not ON the Sacred Water?   get on it for 6 months…the harder you train, the more stressful your life?  the more you need this 24/7 chronic refurbishing of your 17-trillion cells!   contact me to get on the Sacred Water!

Coach, I haven’t heard about this… will have to send into ASEA support for response, but I don’t think light sensitivity is a factor but more likely is ability to ship with no damage/leakage.Here is some info that may be helpful from a previous email:

Speaking from my industry experience as a materials engineer- ASEA uses HDPE  (high density polyethylene) which is the accepted standard for food grade bottling. Because of it’s crystalline structure HDPE has excellent chemical resistance (non-leaching) properties.
HDPE (#2 recycle) does not use, or have any concerns with the recent BPA leaching that was associated with Polycarbonate (#7 recycle) bottling that has been in the news in the past year.
Just do a web search for “HDPE bottle safe” and you’ll see the many reports of HDPE and food safety.

Here is additional info on the bottles from Kurt Richards, ASEA corporate:
ASEA has gone the extra mile to make sure that our bottles are :
Sodium lauryl sulfate free,
Titanium dioxide-free
ASEA is very aware that our bottles need to be non-leaching AND as bio-degradable as possible, which is a tall order . ASEA  continues to research better options. They tested a bottle made from corn, but it leached and destabilized the molecules. Right now, they have the best of both worlds, and have put a lot of thought and alot of research into their decision.

Best Regards
Bob
