Most Precious Sangha,
as we continue to do what it takes to rise early in the pre-dawn hours to meditate, to do the vital inner work which must be done,
we soon realize that our Meditation efforts inspires our Outer Worldly gaze…
and they over and over again, merge as One.
Meditation allows our mind space. Precious space. Space before the Anger can arise. Space before the frustration arises…Space…space, space…treasured space…even when battling elbow to elbow at speeds of over 35mph on bicycles for a sprint finish? my own feeble Meditation Practice allows me the SPACE to see, calculate, adjust, and react. Guess that is one reason why, after 3 decades of racing bikes among many other things? ilg is still taking scalps and safely Here Now….
as my precious Durango native friend and Dharma Teacher, Billy Ball said to me after another infamous wild and woolly Tuesday night Club Bicycle Training Ride (race ;-)…
“Mindfulness or else!”
Through consistent (key word) Meditation Practice, we find that our inner vision permits our outer vision to become more expansive, more peaceful, more compassionate…and in our every day gaze at others? there is more Equanimity, more Poise, more Elegance of Being…
is Meditating more consistently important to you?
it is for ilg…
tell me…
and Blessed be your Silences,
