“Now, honey…” i drawled as sweetly as i could muster to Ananda last week,  “…if you plan on storing that hay in the garage for the winter,  you’re gonna cover it tightly up, right?  Otherwise the chickens are gonna…”

“Of COURSE,  i’m going to cover it up, Steve…”

A delicious soup inspired and 90% made by 5 year-old Dewachen…can you name the ingredients?    ilg LOVES soups, stews, hec, even porridges (although i can’t rightly recall a time i’ve even HAD porridge)….easy on the digestion,  high on the nutrients…what’s not to love?

Precisely why we check our shoes (and/or inline skates as the case above was) for Black Widows…i transported this beautiful BW Spider Being safely across the street to the river bank…Om Mani Padme Hung…

only thing better than railin’ some bad-ass hop-scotchin’ on your front sidewalk when you’re 5?
Railin’ the scothin’ while rockin’ your fav cowgyrl boots and matching hat, snake scarf, and swim rings before heading off to the pool with mommy and daddy!

Where else but in the Bubble does a single warrior daddy put up $45,000 of his own money to
provide a cosmetic face lift to our historic in-town ski hill which has produced more Olympic Champions
than any town of its size?   pic:  our precious little Chapman Hill getting dozed and well-delivered for the upcoming ski season…
ilg grew up skiing on this hill and my daughter is doing the same thanks to the Durango Winter Sports Foundation and others!
