this year, not unlike past presidential election years,
my worldwide sangha has asked for my choice in a new president.
though yogis are traditionally apolitical
– we devote our lives and sweat and spirit and practice to the heightening of consciousness to individuals and then trust in their dharma fitness to get out there and Serve the Light –
this year in particular is not ‘traditional’ and it is my Thought and Feeling that
Obama will be a far more judicious, sensitive, less reactionary, and tapped-in President than the older dude who can’t even recall how many houses he owns and is computer-challenged. i feel that Obama has a greater skill set for the Kali Yuga challenges ahead. i have felt sincerity in his posture, words, and track record.
though the argument can be made that all Presidents are mere puppets, if that be so,
i prefer an elegant speaker of words with conscious posture and who takes the Higher Road when engaged in debates than not.
besides,
there is a lot of “OM” in ObaMa!
May All Beings Experience Peace, Harmony, and Happiness in the coming decades…
