& to think.. that I was only going to stay for 30 minutes when I walked into the cave one late summer evening in 2010.I told myself on my run to the cave – I know my balance is not good, I know I will fall, surely that would be okay (?) and that I must find the clock in class to make sure I leave at 6 PM. I absolutely had NO idea who you, Coach, looked like, and if the people I met in the recreation center (Melissa VS, John VS, and Marissa) were going to be there… what if they weren’t and I knew no one? Will I be the only Native in class again?…
all i can say now is WOW…who was I before? who was I in 2009? in 2008 and all the years before?
MUCH gratitude to all who inspired me in the cave….
Dawaghti,
funny how familiar h(om)e is, eh? that is one of the beautiful, touching paragraphs i’ve ever read…looks like we got the intro for your interview! thank you for this offering!
Most teachings are for Wholistic Fitness Members only. Some are complimentary.
These teachings are the "Rasas" or "sap" of Wholistic Fitness. You’ll find insights to ponder, student chi to keep your own chi topped off, and plenty of proven training techniques to test on your own body, mind, and spirit! Also, you’ll find my very popular Race Reports, and news of our Sangha’s (community’s) latest transpersonal fitness adventures!
You have access to thousands of posts going all the way back to 2002. The Archives makes for ideal Svadhyaya, and if you don’t know what that important term means ... all the more reason to dive into these amazing WF Scriptural Recordings!
Checking out one or two archived teachings every day or so is an AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE way to stay connected with your Tribe AND maintain consistency and motivation in what matters most: your own practice.
Note: We'll be fixing broken image links, and cleaning up the categorization of archived posts, over time.
