Noble Warriors!

Mike "Maha Manas" Singer up here in Seattle, just welcoming everyone to the new Sangha Lounge (and the new site).

I first discovered Coach Ilg when I read The Outdoor Athlete while working in the Hampshire College Outdoors Program equipment room back in 1989. (Little did I know that one day …)

I've been a student of WF since about 2004, when I started first online training under Joseph "Haku" Sheader. I later moved to working with Steve himself.

For the past year or so, a core aspect of my WF practice has been the new WF discipline of "Web Weaving" … I've been working with Coach to create this new site, create some new products, and come up with an overall strategy to bring WF to a wider audience by utilizing all the great technology available today. Having left Microsoft after 11 years I had wanted to leave technology behind, yet sometimes duty calls, you realize your strengths can be put to great use, and you can't resist.

That said, I'm a writer and marketing guy, not a Web developer, so it's been quite a learning process. I'm quite pleased with the result though, and I hope you are too. It's been a slow road, yet today the door is finally open. Over the weeks and months ahead we have many things planned for the WF Sangha, so fasten your seatbelt, sit back, and get ready for the new and improved Wholistic Fitness!

Please let me know if you have any comments, challenges, or suggestions for improvement as you start playing and exploring with us here. The site will be evolving over time, so expect much more soon. Getting the door open was just the first big step.

Glad to have you with us!

Maha
