Dear Steve,
Wholistic fitness is the way forward….. Just want to tell you a little story. I am recovering from major operation to correct a chest deformity I had from birth which gave me very bad posture, chronic pain, mental unhealth and breathing problems. Was in spite of this very active person, into mountaineering etc. After the operation I set myself a plan over several years to achieve not just fitness but happiness. It involved taoist meditation, pilates, cardio and strength training along with proper nutrition….! sound familiar? When I read your ‘3 month book’ I was very pleased but not that suprised to see your essentially similar philosophy( substitute buddhism/Zen for the taoist stuff and yoga for the pilates…). I am improving steadily but have a very long path to tread( don’t we all). Very Happy that you are introducing many people to the reality of what it means to be a fully functioning human! Namaste
Tom
