STUDENT INPUT:
Beautiful teacher:
I agree with your assessment of Hot Yoga. I hurt my back at a class because the heat, plus the “encouragement” from the teacher encouraged too much stretching for me. Sometimes hot yoga can become almost an aerobics-type competitive class. If one can’t keep the ego in check, injury is likely.

Coach!
I purchased your new book in January and have just finished “Green Tara.” I have been a cyclist for twenty years and doing yoga (inconsistently) for about ten. Last year I began some moderate weight training. I have a regular discipline of prayer and am always trying to be conscious of what I eat. It was very refreshing to find a book that coverers all of these important areas in an intelligent and integrated way. My spiritual tradition encourages people to form a “Rule of life” to give them strength for the journey. Your book is a great resource for that! I am currently enjoying my week or rest and feeling stronger than I have for years. I cant wait to dive into the Cosmic Yang.
Thank you for your work and enthusiasm.
Many blessings,
Tom Norwood
