WARRIOR KOPS LEAVES THE TEMPLE FOR THE BATTLEFIELD/ MC and ZAZEN/AVERSION/ASANA and SELF KNOWLEDGE
“As a result of practicing asana, you begin to understand your own body language. The body develops its own sensitivity and knows whether the food you eat is “right” or not. Your internal clock regulates your schedule precisely, and your body lets you know if you’re exercising too much, if you’re sleeping too much, and so forth.”

Dear Steve,
Your love and dedication inspire me…It is rare to find a spiritual partner. Some one who will support your growth and nothing more. Your knowledge amazes me. You know and can follow everythingwhich is happening. As a fellow teacher, I know you know what this means, the value of a learned student. As we both are.
 I am here in your service and support… I am nothing…no-thing…namaste, B

WF Coach Haku,
I will be departing soon for operations in the Middle East (as you recall, I am an Army officer). As of today, 17 January 2005, please suspend my Wholistic Fitness Online Training program and account for the indefinite future. I fully intend on reactivating my studies with you upon my return.
Studies with you have been a watershed. Because of you and Wholistic Fitness, I have been able to re-look my life and delve deep into areas previously hidden. I originally came seeking your assistance in preparing for martial arts competitions later this year. Believe it or not, I am not disappointed in not being able to participate in these competitions due to my deployment. Sir, on the contrary, I now see my training as a life-long cycle of development. In short, Wholistic Fitness has provided me with a new benchmark with which to view my life and my wholistic fitness.
I have “cc’d” Coach Ilg on this e-mail to ensure that he fully realizes the depth of my experience with you as my coach and my gratitude toward the same.
God bless you Coach Haku, and thanks again.
Very Respectfully,
– Kenneth E. Kops

Dear Ilgbro (a.k.a El Huevo)
It pleases me to know that the former core of the fabled LIR still get out for some two wheeled fun.
I do enjoy my herbs every day, and ride regularly. Breath and posture is my mantra. Occasionally I may be heard chanting “low breath, straight spine” as I fly up Yerba Buena Rd, or Backbone Trail. I do my best to work in some warrior, down dog, pigeon and several other poses between keystrokes ( or waiting for big files to copy), as well as the WF Medium Form after rides. It helps but is not enough to deal with those cyclist hips.
I look forward to returing to HP Yoga, regenerating my WF CHI…heck all my CHI.
– Namaste,
Student Mikel

Dear Coach,
Zazen: Continues to be a work in progress. I am noticing that the things I see — TV/ movies have really been interrupting my zazen sessions, and because of this, I have a much lower desire to watch and clutter myself with garbage.
