WF Online Student and HP Yogini Sophia on: “The gift of a daily WF pranayama practice”

Sophia, shown above in a fun variant of Natarajasana, is one of those Brahmanic cusp Warrior yogins that visit my humble Warrior Temple to support their more Advanced Grasp of Ethereal Yogic components. In ancient times, the Brahmins (intellectuals) were close friends with and honored deeply the input from the slightly ‘lower’ Warrior caste. i, and thus, WF and HP Yoga, descend from an esteemed, yet purely Warrior, tribe. Some of our Tribe, like myself, hover toward the Brahmin edge, yet cannot linger in that intellectual terrain for long. this explains, from a yogic perspective, why close to 15% of WF Master Students are above average collegiate education; Masters, Ph.D’s, Doctors, and Lawyers. Brahmin/Warriors like beautiful Sophia, re-Members (with) WF because they sense they need a wise and true Ground to their natural samskaric gravitation toward the Body, not just the Mind. i am Honored to serve the Brahmin/Warriors in my humble Temple. the Highest Percentage of Master WF Online Students come from this intellectual/warrior cusp.

here then are Sophia’s words, excerpted from an Update she sent me tonight:

“The gift of a daily WF pranayama practice could not have come at a better time. It is helping me to bear what feels unbearable. Returning again and again to conscious breathing is like an ocean of unconditioned presence – there is space for all of the rushing thoughts and colossal feelings to move through, and to dissolve. I feel held in breath and it is good.

Regarding the Sunrider herbs, I had already (before receiving your note) started to (intuitively) cut back, which helped slow things down.

Regarding the netti pot – I have shied away since every time I do it, I end up feeling a burning sensation in the nasal membranes and as if I’m catching a cold for the rest of the day (this did not happen on my first attempt, but every time afterwards). I wonder if I might have more luck with purified water (maybe the chlorine is getting me?) – here’s a thought!

By the way, went for a long walk on Zuma Beach yesterday and saw a jogger in a WF t-shirt – – do you have a student in Malibu?

Thank you for continuing to hold the light.

With a deep bow of gratitude,

Sophia
