KEEPING THE PATH GROUNDED…IN ANY GIVEN MOMENT…
“In any given moment there is only one question for the yogi to ask themselves; am i concentrating or am i grasping?”
– coach ilg.
Beginning your day with or at least including some form of meditation in your day, be it a moving meditation like the Ai Imawa Taoist Yoga Postures shown above or breathing or sitting meditations, helps keep the mind as a discriminative tool of pure Awareness and wisdom, instead of an armchair for the ego and sense slavery. Most Noble Fitness Warriors of our humble yet powerful Path –
A message from my Teachers to you:
My recent relocation beneath the Sacred Peak has elevated a number of you (particularly the Online Students) to a whole new
astral Level of your Practice. An uncommon number of you are contacting me regarding my or a WF-related Presence or icon appearing in your DreamStates.
Though this is a positive sign of spiritual advancement in your personal fitness, i must coach you right now, not to dramatize or attach to this new Realm of your WF Practice. Your mental energies are being strengthened and prepared for more advanced Inner Work later in your life. all of this is go(o)d; exceptional, really, yet i must re-Mind you that WF is very grounded stuff; i could take WF into the “new age” side of fitness very easily, yet my Teachers have firmly made it clear that WF is a Clearing and Preparation for Higher Work. Most of you Online Students will be introduced to far more talented coaches than i in the astral Realms. Know this. You are just being safely strengthened for your Bardo Training and Higher Work.
Remember, stay grounded!
Stay focused on your WF Practice.
My point to sharing this Message to you is that Dharana (concentration) is everything for your where your Practice can take you.
remember this one from DL last year?;
“In any given moment there is only one question for the yogi to ask themselves; am i concentrating or am i grasping?”
allow that to be your Mantra:
“Am i concentrating or am i grasping?”
Work with that and all will Arise.
I am very, very proud of the terrain you have traveled thus far along this Steep and Direct Path of personal training that spits out the common man and “wannbe” yogis like kindling for the Kundalini! we are Blessed to have found this little known Warrior Way of the West!
in sweat and stillness,
coach ilg
