Sweet Steve,
regarding yesterday’s DL:
“…I have been saddened, again and again, to see how many people take up a teaching or a master with enthusiasm and promise, only to lose heart when the smallest, unavoidable obstacles arise, then tumble back into samsara and old habits, and waste years or perhaps a lifetime.”
Sogyal RInpoche
Thank you for sharing…the quote above is so true, in your coaching with students & with those I work with on whatever level…to easy to “tumble back”, or so many think.
Actually, I’ve found that it’s harder, cost’s more in time, resources & energy to “tumble back”. I believe it’s easier to just keep moving forward even if it’s only one tiny step at a time. More fun, too.
Besides, all that “looking back” will give someone is a pain in the neck:-)
love ya
trish
