it gives me great honor to be accepted by Red Rock Racing, a Flagstaff based bicycle racing team for 2006. the locals worked the new “old guy from Los Angeles” pretty hard for the past seven months, yet, i guess i kinda showed ’em that i ain’t going away…as soon as my new Team’s website is up, i will let you know.
here is how i answered my new Team’s request for a bio…as you can tell, Red Rock Racing reflects Flag; we are a low-key team that just wants to keep bike racing and training as fun as it is supposed to be. a little different from my time with Team Motorola! enjoy:

Our sangha is a very kind yet devoted Tribe of ‘fitness warriors’ that realize the necessity of lifetime exercise. those who gravitate toward Wholistic Fitness� are those people who wish to use their personal fitness training as a vehicle of Self Cultivation. it’s a fun, though very Steep and Difficult Path of Self Transformation. How I started riding:
at age 7 my best friend Bobby Nielon challenged me to a skidding contest on our Schwinn Sting Rays…i kicked his ass by like 3 feet and he had to give me his red Mustang HotWheels�….YEAH BABY! HA!

at a pedal cadence around 180…still working on mastering my spin.
