Above Bottom: A young Coach Ilg squatting well over twice his bodyweight for reps during off season to prepare for endurance running. Coach still holds several unmatched Peak Running records along the spine of the Rocky Mountains and has podiums and top 25 finishes in such Esteemed Mountain Races such as Imogene Pass, Kendall Mountain, Bolder Boulder, and the Doc Holiday 50-mile Ultra Mountain Running Race. Talk about “Chi Running!” Let’s see all those “Certified Chi Runners” crawl under a squat bar loaded with over twice their bodyweight and ask them to use their CHI to squat for reps, baby!!!…Where’s your Certifed CHI now, baby!?!?! Huh!?!?

Below is an actual excerpt from a Cycle Summation of Student Ludgate – recently profiled in DL. Typical of WF Scientific Art, i have returned the bulk of Student Ludgate’s Practice back into the IRON TEMPLE (Strength Training) to restore some Deep Fiber Fitness after the running specific months. His following quote is acoustic gold to my ears and makes my heartspace soar…Just imagine if other endurance athletes would embrace a WF Path! Listen now, Oh Noble WF Warriors, to one of our own;
“…My other dominant observation, after much time away from the gym, was how much wiser my strength training felt this cycle. The strength I have developed through my cardio, yoga, and meditation training served me in good stead in this month’s strength training. I felt largely released from ego concerns about how much / little weight was on the bar. Conversely, I was much more dialed into my breath, posture, and form, and my lifting tempo was much more dynamic and fluid. This was also the first time, during my pull up and dip sets, that I really felt Mula Bandha lock in and help “lighten the load” of my body weight.”
