Sweet Teacher Ananda,
this life is so strange. Sometimes I do not know what to share; I do not know what is truly important, what is most appropriate and what is just words. I am tentative at times to share too much as I wonder; in the sharing I am just encouraging certain thoughts, certain ego cries, certain dragons? Making these things real through my sharing? So I chose to sit and watch. See if they sort themselves out within the grounds of my practice. (Of course if it is anything directly related to the practice, SR, or the program I am sure to let you know).
I have been reading Coach’s book, THE WINTER ATHLETE, the cardio chapter was wonderful and these new lessons are being applied to my CV training. I also find that I draw on the strength of my dumbbell swings as I run my intervals.
The main thing that seemed clear this week was how Wholistic Fitness is beginning to flow into my lifestyle and personality. I find I am more willing to help others and am also not as lazy when it comes to household chores and so called mundane tasks. When you stop trying to run away from the work at hand things become much more enjoyable and interesting.
I bow to your Strength.
I bow to Coach for taking the space to find this Path.
I bow to the struggle that I am facing on it (not with it).
The Path is the Path after all and Paths are for walking UP!
In Humble Gratitude,
student lees
P.S My new Mantra is ‘lead with the heart’ and my morning Sunday morning practice was both inspired and dedicated to you
