Field Report from Ananda at 2:22 PM

As i sit (in WF LifeStyle Principle #1)in a lovely little Internet Cafe here in Grants NM, home to the Mt. Taylor Quadrathlon, determined and dedicated Athletes sweat their way to the finish line of this “42 mile race of endurance.”

It was my intent to give you updates through out this race, however,
due to technical difficulties i was not able to get our computer up and running.
Thanks to our loyal web-master, John “hak” Kuhlman, who was gracious enough to
answer his cell phone while buying new running shoes for his up-coming Triathlon,
i am now finally able to give you WF Warriors/Warrioresses what you want…an “un-offical” update on Team Mountain Yogi!

Let’s just say…they brought their A, number one, game to this race!
In other words, they put the almighty hurt on the other teams.
In other “un-offical” words, they where the FIRST TEAM across the finish line,
giving them two wins:
1) First Team
2) First Team in their “age division.”

Yeah, baby! Age had nothing to due with performance here today.
Only sweat, chi and love for what they do and who they BE!!!

From my understanding, they sliced off about 15 minutes from last years time.

In Richards “Gram Man” words, “Lisa was flying.” Leaving male athletes, like the
one who came up to us at the finish line, to say to themselves, “man, that lady
is fast.” i get chi-bumps (a WF word for chill bumps) just writing about Lisa.
Meeting her and her husband, Roy, for the first time last night, this athlete
is unassuming and funny, and as Coach said in his DL yesterday,
“this woman can HAMMER”! Thank you, Lisa, for making the pilgramage to Tsidool,
the Turquoise Mountain, to be apart of Team Mountain Yogi! No longer a rookie
here, you’re a winner!

As for our Coach… well, we’re just going to have to wait. For the safety
of the athletes still on the course, the officials don’t allow cars on the road,
so knowing our wacked yet tapped teacher, he’s probably running all the way down
to the start/finish line (it’s only about 20 miles away) from where he, too,
hammered with “Manjurshree like speed,” the Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe portion to the summit of Tsidool also known today as the Mountain Run to the summit, since there was no snow. Regardless of conditions, i TAF Coach’s Mission (see yesterday’s DL entry)was accomplished with WF Devotion, Grace and Grit!

Congratulations Team Mountain Yogi!
You guys and gal rock!!!

Your ‘support’ crew,
ananda

P.S. thank you Angela and Roy for supporting your Spouses. Your love
and presence was greatly appreciated beyond my words, i TAF.
