Since 1982 coach ilg, pictured above during a DVD shoot with Wayne Williams, has attempted to teach a no-glitz, hardcore Path of Ancient Yogic Wisdom wrapped within the Sweat and Spirit of today’s modern fitness world. DVD’s, books, CDs, complimentary blogging and newsletters, and most of all. the Dharma Front Line of one-on-one personal training through the world’s first, fitness online training system. Is the Tide of Kali Yuga (our current spiritual dark age, prophesied thousands of years ago by the Yogic Masters), just too strong to see Wholistic Fitness� survive the apathy of self cultivation so rampant these days? you and i stand on a spiritual precipice; the Void of the Outer World’s addiction to entertainment instead of Inner Attainment may soon see Coach Ilg close the Doors of WF once and for all…what a tragedy that would be for those of us who love his creative, grounded, and astonishing Path of Clarity Through Sweat and Stillness. Ilgbro,
We are all competing against the hightide of comfort, safety, and entertainment.
Us highschool coaches were talking about it the other day at the meet…kids could be as fast and talented as ever yet there is not the work ethic, the drive, the tenacity, the interest… When we were in highschool/college most injuries were due to overtraining, now they are due to undertraining.

The path of least resistance, especially when it rewards you, is hard to resist for so many.

There is a whole �why bother� attitude. Spiritual candy is all most want, some red bull for a little zest, just a peak into the Grand Canyon then back to the casino, 5 minutes of �warrior yoga� at least for a couple weeks tell the novelty of the dvd wares off, podiums much easier to acquire on puter game of halo.

I am not even impressed with peoples �intentions� any more. Intentions my ass..those aren’t intentions, those are fluffy flakey, feel good little wish bones.
