A few years ago a Special Olympic Games was held in Seattle. The participants were all children who were either physically or mentally disabled. At one of the events, nine children were assembled for a 100-yard race. When the race began, all nine began running towards the finish line. About halfway, one boy tripped and fell. He Started to cry. The other eight racers heard him crying and slowed down. One by one, they stopped, turned around, and went back to help him. A girl with Down’s Syndrome bent over and kissed him saying, “This will make it better.” Then they all linked arms and walked togther to the finish line. Everyone in the stadium leapt to their feet, and the cheering continued for ten minutes.

Instead of always trying to “find” love
why don’t we step on First Base first?
why don’t we just follow the Guidance of the Masters and do what They have been trying to Teach us for eons:
“He who giveth, receiveth even more.”
the very moment we begin (again and again and endlessly…) to, as Teacher Blanchard taught me, “Bring the Love,”
then we inevitably, “Feel the Love.”

yup, that’s what that Crazy Wisdom whacky asana Teacher Blanchard gifted to me:
“Bring the Love,
and you will feel the Love.”

keep firing that one little DharmaArrow into your Awareness today and just see and feel (SAF?)
where it leads…

Ananda and i often cheer each other before we teach a Yoga Class;
“Bring the Love, baby! Just bring the Love!”

it works. trust me!

Because the law of karma is inevitable and infallible, whenever we harm others, we are directly harming ourselves, and whenever we bring them happiness, we are bringing ourselves future happiness. The Dalai Lama says:

“If you try to subdue your selfish motives—anger and so forth—and develop more kindness and compassion for others, ultimately you yourself will benefit more than you would otherwise. So sometimes I say that the wise selfish person should practice this way. Foolish selfish people are always thinking of themselves, and the result is negative. Wise selfish people think of others, help others as much as they can, and the result is that they too receive benefit.”
