last week while at Lake Maxinkuckee, EMR, meditation and lots of CV was my practice, this past week has been more of a recovery week with meditation and appreciations being my focus. as Coach Ilg quotes in TBT “Wholistic Fitness will escape you if you disregard Meditation. It’s like chopping off one of your legs and wondering why you have trouble balancing.” So as this week began and meditation was on my (body)mind at 3:30 AM one early morning, i arouse to attend to the calling…this week was about sitting. the attached photo was taken by Chad Franz www.eclipse-photography.com thursday at a photographer’s meeting while the venue was to have a photo shoot and then process the images. we meet once a month to share, learn, & grow. he captured this amazing moment while i was standing in tree pose, balancing on one leg (right leg bent, right foot on left inner thigh while balancing on my left leg) and giving thanks for such an incredible place, and honoring all the lessons that continue to unfold in front of me.
