whoa…2 days in a row, have practiced the 20 min. nap after the mid-day meal. it definitely is a sweet treat after arising between 4:30-5:30 for the past 3 mornings to practice Zazen. yesterday it was challenging to relax at first as i was mid-stream of my ‘work’ and i knew i was becoming worthless on the concentration level, so i continued to lie still and slow the breath….30 min. later, i was at my computer with a new sense of awareness and more chi to concentrate and get some assignments accomplished. It took a lot longer in the evening for me to feel the hunger arise for dinner, instead of feeling the afternoon ‘munchies’.
after this morning’s Zazen, i practiced your ‘Stream Entry’ meditation.
