tonight. WF Tribal H(om)e Zendo. looking down from within Swastikasana…one of my go-to Meditation Postures. an undertraffic’d asana, it seems. photo from phone, ilg.

the difference between a yogi and an athlete
is obvious to anyone wise enough to be both.

scintillating as well, is the fact that the obvious differences
are also their most intriguing and as yet unexplored similarities
which, in ages hence, the newer generations of wholeness
seekers will dive into and elevate the Warrior Caste back to where
it began; as the most wise and strong protectors and guiders of humanity.

the differences between a yogi and an athlete:

an athlete enjoys
pursuing his or her strengths.

the yogi explores his or her weaknesses, and exploits their multi-layered Gifts.

the athlete competes within intensity.

the yogi contemplates within intensity.

A SPIRITUAL WARNING TO ATHLETES:
because an athlete is always focused on developing their natural predispositions,
the egoic sphere really tends toward etheral lamination, cementing the
“I” and “Mine.”

the yogi of wholeness is trained within the Mantra;

sabbe dhamma nalam abhinesavaya

Nothing Whatsoever Should Be Clung To As “I” or “Mine”.
