Dewa Ilg inspires many, including Mark Twight’s might!

This came in from my Brother From A Different Mother, Mark Twight….
some of you may recognize the name…author of many top selling books such as “Kiss and Kill”. Extreme mountaineering. Mark also trained all the utterly ripped and muscular bodies appearing in an Academy Award winning movie. i professionally trained Mark for a short time during his famed mountaineering career and influenced his now-famed approach to training. Here is his letter to me today, sparked by a pic on my Facebook and/or Winter Warrior 10k race which is coming up this Saturday!

This is a fantastic picture. Thank you for sharing. (Your daughter is ) Eight years-old, truly?

I’m in London for a while. But my heart is with a woman in Farmington (New Mexico), just down the road from you. I’ll see you again one of these days.

D-cat took the Gold Medal in the 0-9 Age Group in a time of 1:13:58. Dewa will be attempting to continue her winning streak Saturday, January 30th at the Durango Nordic Center. How about YOU?
