Local yoga teacher/personal fitness trainer, Steve Ilg (53) lost in his defense of the 2015 Overall Championship in the 13th running of the “Leadville Loppet Nordic Marathon” on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Ilg placed
2nd Overall losing to 21 year-old collegiate nordic ski racer from Boulder, Jamie Mothersbaugh. Ilg covered the
44-kilometer classic-style race at elevations over 10,600′ in 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 6 seconds. There were no
