How To Remain Sponsored for over 40 years…

ilg has remained a sponsored athlete/yogi since age 17 (i’m now 51).  my most pertinent encouragement to younger sponsored athletes/yogis?  consider your sponsors as your boss and put in at least Part Time employment energies to continue to represent their support of you.  many of today’s athletes just want to be sponsored, yet are unwilling to communicate and represent their sponsors in local, regional, and social media ways throughout the year. pic:  ilg in Weighted Padmasana Push Ups

    Coach-

    I love this picture. It shows all the parts of WF in one pose; the strength, endurance, flexibility, breath, posture, and focus (meditation).

    I will need to bring all of that to the start line of Tsidool soon.

    So many triathletes here on the Front Range
    Many Olympians as well
    Nearly all seek a sponsorship
    And many revel in the fact that they are sponsored…
    Yet…. so little are actually humbled…

    as hand catching a Rainbow Trout in high, icy waters…
