14 year-old Dewachen Ilg opens her ’22 trail racing season with a stunning Overall Title and sets a 1:01Course Record at the inaugural Durango Skyline 12k put on by world-renown Araviapa Running of Phoenix, Arizona. Capturing footage of the fleet-footed Dewa proved quite the workout yet preciously priceless as I documented her fearlessness – even on a day where she was ill – to go for a wire-to-wire victory over a solid field including professional triathlete and multi champion, Marisa Asplund!
