John Singleton, cashing in on his WF, HP Yoga, and SUNRIDER devotion at this year’s track nationals as he charged out of and down the velodrome banking for the start of his flying 200m time trial. John, placed third with a personal best time. Hey, how many times do i need to say it, “The WF Path works, when YOU work the Path!” i mean c’mon!?! what other Tribe has Students just cranking in so many diverse ways with such Love Based Inner Fire!?!? WF is inDeed; American Made Yoga, baby! WF is; America’s indigenous form of Yoga; a multidisciplined Path toward Union; just precisely what the Ancient Masters were teaching; Embrace EVERYTHING as your Yoga; push NO ASPECT of your Fitness Away! Below, John’s email to me speaks of a Higher Vibrating Level to his training…enjoy, and Thank you Noble Student Singleton, for your devoted Practice!

Dear Kemosabe,
It’s been quite a long while since I wrote you
last. If I might share a moment or two with you, I
would be most appreciative. I had a dream last night,
with you in it front and center, and I’m taking this
as my soul shouting at me to at least write and say
“hello”.
I dream quite vividly and frequently, and get
very excited when I have one that is worth sharing. In
last night’s dream, I was at an intensive with you. We
were doing bicep curls, with a weight plate tied to an
elastic cord (hey, it’s a dream). As I neared failure
on one arm, you handed me a smaller plate, and I kept
going. Again, as I neared failure, you handed me the
next smaller plate, and I continued. Finally, as you
reached for yet a smaller plate, I struggled through
one last repetition, refusing to take the smaller
plate from you, instead intent on finishing the
repetition with the plate in hand – which I did, after
about 15 seconds and screams of joy/pain and tears
streaming down my face; (not drama, instead
release). Then, onto the other arm!
As we worked that arm, a young lady approached
from around the pool (don’t know if you have a pool,
but I have seen a young neighbor in Direct Lines). Her
passion, charm, bright open eyes and open soul rightly
distracted us, we dropped what we were doing, listened
to her story, and agreed to join her on a bike
ride! Yippee!! This bike ride was to take place
down at the local and nearby velodrome (pretty sure
you don’t have one of those nearby, but if you do and
have been keeping it secret from the world, I’ll be
out there the day after tomorrow to ride it)
{Coach’s Interruption; Student Singleton is tapped right in;
where i lived in LA, a swimming pool was outside my front door
and the Encino Velodrome was a 5 minute bike ride away!}
Like all track riders, we fussed around with gear and
stuff to take with us, while the young lady, on
her cute little pink bike with tassels on the
handle bars and cartoon characters stuck to her
helmet, impatiently implored us to please hurry
up.
This was essentially the end of the dream. Thank
you for allowing me to share it with you.
Yesterday, I was asked to coach a women’s team
for the Little 500, held each spring at Indiana
University. I know something about bike racing, and
track racing particularly, but nothing about the
peculiarities of the Little 500 event. It should be an
adventure!
I enjoyed Tobe’s postings on his experiences of
his recent Intensive with you. Best wishes to you as
you continue to prepare for your big event this
winter.
Bowing deeply to your work with all of us,
the big-boned track-sprinter,?student of a student,
namaste,
john
