Magical. Mysterious. Surreal. Grounding.
Dewa and her DHS XC Teammates travel onto the Rez to contest the Tohatchi Invitational and covering it brought up soooo many sacred sweat memories from my own HS XC racing days (back then, we would race on/near the Rez a lot cuz we couldn’t afford trips to the Front Range, etc.).
