Buddha’s First Noble Truth, “Life is Tension.” Typically mistranslated as, “Life is Suffering.” This weeks Vlog juxtaposes the Life Tension between Dewa’s well earned tensions of training to score another Overall Podium in XC racing for Her school’s Team with my bouldering on a virgin boulder. If you know anything about the sport of bouldering? It’s that failure is dominant. It’s such an extremely difficult sport that repeat ascents at the highest levels are counted on the fingers of one hand. This Vlog features my Durango Trails co-sweater; Brody Kunz (an FLC standout gravity athlete) filming my sending and failing upon my own virgin boulder right here in Durango and? Highlights Dewa’s 2nd Overall at a super special XC Course on the Navajo Rez at the Skyhawk Invitational in Newcomb, NM!
