Dear Steve,
Doing High Performance Yoga has made more of an impact on me than i can put into words. The passion you have is contagious. I am so grateful for your Presence. Your Yoga has helped me turn breakdowns into breakthroughs. Like you say, “From Pain to Pran.”
Thank you my Brother!

COACH RESPONDS:
My Noble Beautiful Tribal Music Brother,
i bow to you. thank you for your latest CD; it so rocks i nearly had to be put on belay just to listen to it!
life is a difficult journey for a young man these days to walk with such an Open, Loving Heart as you.
to follow that Open Loving Heart is, to me, the most bravest, noblest action of a human. to live each day
with no safety net,
to live knowing that your next paycheck comes only from your love and effort…no corporation, no money will come that has not be earned from love…that is the yogi’s Way…that is the musician’s Way.
and, we would rather our Souls wither in Her Own Way, on Her Own Path
than to rake in the cash by following someone else’s Path.
for you, at such a young age,
to embark on this Love Based Journey,
and
to do so with such vivid expression by way of song and music is the stuff that hits the High Beam of a person’s Soul Radiance.
you, and your beautiful family, have done just that to this feeble mountain yogi.
think about laying some tracks for my next Yoga or WF Training DVD, okay?
see you in Utah this summer among the red lipped canyons which kiss the seemingly endless blue sky.
oh, and engage Heightened Awareness with those LA gigs…that Big City is a helluva Practice Ground!
below is a shout out to my WF Tribe for them to visit your links and say hi, or better yet, order some music!
keep the sweat as the springboard to your lyrics.
namaste,
coach ilg

A CLASSIC COACH ILG DHARMA CD for the week:
pull on your YogaToes, put your feet up a wall after a long cardio workout, lay back, close your eyes, and
listen to the peerless lyricism and diamond clear angelic vocals of the one, the only;
Janis Ian…
SOUVENIRS
best of Janis Ian
1972-1981
they don’t make music like that no mo….
i nominate Track #3; From Me To You as the Tribal Anthem of WF…it, to me, expresses the spirit of our humble little Tribe swimming so hard upstream for so long against the torrential current of ego based fitness chaos and those who consistently have tried or are still trying to ‘pull us down the hole from which they climbed…”
oh, and Track #4? “At Seventeen”? C’MON!?!?!!! if this, perhaps Janis’s best known song, doesn’t make you choke back a tear or two, i am here to tell you; your yin needs a re-pair job with your yang!
i bow to Musicians everywhere…
hell, i couldn’t carry a tune if it came with a handle on it…
if i could,
i swear, i would just be a musician/songwriter to spread and protect the Dharma…
however, it is not my karma…
sweat and spirit
is…
thus,
from everyday sweat and spirit
i send each and every one of you…
Dharma Blessings in rhythm and tears,
coach ilg
