Cheers to your recent snowfall. Better late than never, eh? Enjoy.
Moving Up was huge. EMR (Early Morning Ritual; an WF Online Exclusive Practice) has been great this week and i am now getting the hang of Toilet Yoga Level II. It is nice to fully concentrate and this location really helps. The Twisting Agni Sara pulls perplexed me last week but i got it big time this week. And who doesn’t love the Crapper Catcher? Can’t wait to see how much space this helps create.
My sitting position the other day may have actually been Siddhasana. I will try to send a photo next week when the camera returns from a cruise. The Miracle of Mindfulness book arrived this week and i read a chapter each night.
Here are some stats from” Minutes are Forever” which i did tonight at home on a spin cycle. I did a 25 minute walk, hang from tree limbs, watch sunset, run hill warmup and then inside to the bike. A 10 minute warmup at 120 bpm then intervals. I was up to 160 bpm at the end of the minute, then slowed to 140 after each of the first 3 intervals. On the 4th and 5th intervals, i again went to 160 bpm but took 2 minutes rest between intervals and heart slowed to 130 bpm. I spun around 120 – 130 bpm for another 10 minutes to cool down. This was a highly controlled workout so i think it is a useful baseline. As i write this, my heart feels like it worked pretty hard today.
Onward and upward.
In stillness.
