* Temple Manager Ananda planting lavender at the Temple H(om)e. In Wholistic Fitness such Mindful activities such as gardening is termed, “Active Meditation.” Such Active Meditations can be recognized because they inevitably feed our Souls. The key, of course, is to keep the mind (and Heart) engaged within the moment by moment action. A wandering, unappreciative mind during gardening will not produce beautiful blossoms. Note how Ananda wisely incorporates the use of Yogi Squat for cultivating more than flowers, using Yogi Squat during gardening will also allow the hips to bloom.
