“Introspection teaches us to respect the sacred cycle that continually nourishes the universe: birth, life, death, and rebirth. Can we see our genuine place in the cosmos, a cosmos so inextricably linked to everything but not elevated beyond anything else? Within the context of the universe, a human dying of cancer is no more dramatic than the death of a gazelle brought down by a lion or the slow death of an aspen leaf in autumn. As we learn to remember our true place in the cosmos, we become nourished by an elevated sense of gratitude for being alive right now.”

If you have been reading the WF-Approved or linked up Blogs as i have inCouraged you to do
as a weaning off of “newspapers” and other mainstream media,
and as a Tribal Gesture of Svadhyaya,
you will see that the Practice of Personal Fitness or Yoga
inevitably brings us right up against our Highest Fears,
our Laziest Qualities,
our most sentimental Attachments,
our greediest Roots, and
our Deepest Resistances.
Friends dying
Loved Ones dying
Friends going off to war
Loved Ones going off to war
why do you TAF the Bhagavad Gita takes place on a Civil War Battlefield?
The war that we hate
The suffering that war brings
starts inside.
We Practice what we need to Learn most…be careful before becoming a Practitioner…it is much easier to remain Asleep.
Everything,
even at the subatomic level is in a process of annihilation and birth, continuously, endlessly, infinitely…
That is why i have Taught you that Meditation is an unalienable Discipline of personal fitness;
for in Meditation;
we die.
our Loved Ones die.
our Attachments die.
our Senses die.
How do you expect to skilfully handle Death – in all Her Wrathful Realms –
if you never Practice The Arts of Dying?
When i am Training, i am practicing how to Die.
When i am taking this time, Teaching you…
i am giving Death to many other forms of Creativity and Serving…
When i am smiling, i am giving Death to Fear…
When i am Consciously Breathing, i am giving Death to spiritual slumber,
When i am washing a dish without Mindfulness, death arrives at my Purity.
My Tibetan Teachers were the fiercest in the Dying Meditation Departments…because everything
everybody dies…
i just wrote a DL on, “Even the Buddha dies,”
feeling my Tribe,
reading your Blogs,
seeing and smiling with your Transformation…
i see my Words
my Style
– even my own signature sign offs –
in your own blogs
your own Sweat…
yet i tell you this;
i want to See you in the Higher Stillness…
you know what i mean.
i have lost many, many Loved Ones, Family, and Friends through my years of extreme sport and the Healing Arts..
though trained in seeing the Outer World through Gunic Waves
and
though understanding roles of three forms of Karma,
when death comes knocking…
“Everywhere, i am folded,” as Rilke wrote.
My feelings compressed so tightly
all space has been squeezed out
i wheeze within this Dream
usually,
i go back to my Tibetan Death Meditations
yet my feeble human predicament
is slow to disappear into any form of spiritual balm…
so,
endlessly i begin again
and again:
into the hidden, joyous folds of WF Lifestyle Principle #1:
Breath and Posture.
“All Karma is God.”
Love, Trust, Birth, and Creativity…
and That,
my Noble Warriors,
is all…
