i dare you, no… i DOUBLE DARE you to click on this picture and just tell me how adorable these two guys are! These are my bro’s from my hood; Ryan on my right and his little brother Mitch on my left. You’ve seen me playing roller hockey with them before in DL. They are my biggest fans i think and if my Work and Way of Being attracts fans like this to me instead of top tier celebrities? Than i’ve done my inner and outer Work well, by God! We can always tell how High we are vibrating by the reaction we chronically receive from animals and children.

Ryan and Mitch were in seventh heaven this Saturday because Joy, Dewa, and i had our Garage Sale. They were among the first to swarm about all my sports equipment of which i was letting go. Note Ryan is wearing a SOFTRIDE cycling jersey from my old sponsorship from that corporation and Mitch is looking fine in the WF Jersey i wore to an overall Championship at Mt. Taylor Winter Quadrathlon; they got both jerseys for one dollar and a ton of other cool stuff for $10 – which they gave to me in a roll of quarters. Only God knows how long it took them to save up that $10 in coin! I love them so. Somewhat sadly, after we’ve been learning how to mountain bike and play some gnarly roller hockey together, they will soon be moving to Ohio and the hood is gonna be a lot less vibrant without these two champs around! i will visualize that my presence in their life helps them in the next step of their Journey.

THE SPIRITUAL RAMIFICATIONS OF A GARAGE SALE

As many of you know who study the archives and books of this Path, my notion of “PERIODIC RENUNCIATIONS” have been in place within the WF System since i introduced it in 1982. In fact, i recall one precious Student from way back in Boulder who absolutely was a shining jewel of WF; she cranked in all the physical and lifestyle disciplines inherent to this Path. i did observe however, a strong adhesion within her lower chakral area. It had to do with Letting Go. So, before i gave her an otherwise very much deserved WF Master Student Inka i instructed her to hold a Gargage Sale and Let Go of any material possession that was not practically being used with Love. Sentimental stuff? Sell it, i coached her. I told her that holding onto stuff that really could be deeper appreciated and used by another Being, was an absolute violation of the yogic laws which govern WF study and discipleship. One day, we will need to watch our Loved Ones go into God’s arms and…eventually, our own bodies and mind; so giving back to the UniVerse our “stuff” is really just spiritual Kindygarten, however, as all of us know; KindyGarten carries some of our most valuable Teachings…

She could not do it.

She was a clutter-bug and once again, WF did what it does sooooo amazingly potently; it HIGHLIGHTED precisely where her deepest weakness along the spiritual journey lie.

She actually quit the Path not long after my Renunciation assignment which she failed. interesting isn’t it how we have conveniently packaged our notion of what REALLY belongs in our category of “Personal Fitness” and what is Sacred Terrain outside it. ilg says, “Screw that shit; IT’S ALL PERSONAL FITNESS! Our Highest Workout Is Indeed; EVERYWHERE and within EVERYTHING!”

Once we get that through our thick noggins we’ll be devoting ourselves to Difficulty wherever it lies within the fabric of our life because only by devoting ourselves to Difficulty do we stand a chance of transforming it into liberation and enlightenment!

THE RENUNCIATION ACT OF 2008; YOUR GARAGE SALE or GO(o)DWILL DONATION

The Renunciation Act of our garage sale was extremely cleansing, both inwardly and outwardly for me. This is because the contact with God is purifying. That is why physiologic cleansing feels so go(o)d; when we take our SUNRIDER herbs of Slim Caps, Fibertone, and Vitadophilus what happens? we wake up and we have this great big glorious poop! and it feels soooooo utterly go(o)d! that is because we contact God through any act of cleansing; be it shitting or renunciation of clutter in the form of material possessions, negative speech and thought, inappropriate actions, addictions, etc.

Yogi’s don’t dinker with prices at Garage Sales. Yogis whose Heart Chakra is open will lovingly give away, give away, give away…i mean, i created this whole “ILGBAY” section set up on my Online Pro Shop, figgering that after Saturday’s Garage Sale, i’d sell all this stuff to you guys for basically nothing just to keep it in the Tribe, right? well, come Saturday my heart opens within the first few customers, i knew there wasn’t gonna be anything left. right off the bat, in sync with Three Ravens escorting them, three very Auspicious Tibetan and Nepalese beings…right off the bat…of course, my Heart Opened especially when i learned they were gathering clothes to give to Tibetan refugees …i think i charged them $5 for two wheelbarrow sized loads of my cherished outdoor performance garments which included Missy Giove’s National Championship vest. i coulda made MAJOR COIN with that on EBAY as well as all sorts of other one-in-the-world garments and gear;, brand new Goretex high tech alpine mountaineering outer wear made for Rob Hall, triple digit Oakley sunglasses worn in a World Championship, etc, etc…i just LOVED the notion of some little Nepalese kid in Katmandu wearing Missy Gioves National Championship vest and not knowing or caring who the hell Missy Giove is…thank God that Joy was inside feeding Dewa while i was out in the driveway giving all of our possessions away!

Still after all these decades practicing Vairagya, my Witnessing Self is just floored by the strongly rooted Sentiments (which are a Klesha or affliction of mind) regarding my “stuff.” I was floored by how painful i became as i watched Dewa’s precious little clothes that she has outgrown be fingered by others…my memories of holding Dewa in my arms, dancing her to sleep in those clothes…aaaargh! my ego wanted me to rush over there, rip the garment outta their hands screaming, “NO, not THIS…or THAT…or…”

why should Letting Go still remain so full of Pain?

From before 8 am until 1 pm; i was in a suspended state of santosha as the people came in waves…i guess the word spread that there was this terrific Garage Sale and – low and behold – the owners of the stuff weren’t GREEDY! WOW!

i kept saying that phrase that i’ve taught you;

“Giving, Giving,
Loving, Loving,
Dedication, Dedication.”

Let me break that down for you, Foxy:

Giving is always more rewarding (karmically) then receiving.
Loving is an act of God’s inexhaustible energy.
Dedication to Non-Attachment (Vairagya) is indispensable to the Energetics of Awakening.

Now a question for you:

What other Personal Fitness Trainer is gonna tell you that you having a Garage Sale
is a Westerner’s act of Eastern and Yogic Renunciation Principles
and is a priceless component of Shatkarma (yogic cleansing ritual)
upon which your entire Spiritual Evolution pivots.

Huh?

Dat’s right, baby; This One…the ever feeble ilg whose h(om)e and spirit is today
more cleansed, more Light, and more full of Sacred Emptiness than ever before…
