am back to civilization and the internet.
what i have learned from revisiting my high mountain yogi austerities is that i am but a shadow of my former self in these beautiful peaks.
i am no longer king of any mountain higher than 3,000′
i cannot believe i am now one of those skiers that have to stop DURING the run to catch their breath!
hell, i used to tele ski double diamond runs all damn day at 12,000′ without getting my heart rate above Zone 2…
it is so easy to compare low altitude ilg with the younger, high altitude version
but this is yoga…my yoga…not to be attached to former levels of physical fitness
actually yesterday i was feeling the old CHI returning big time…pranayama on the chairlifts helps a lot…
today is my final day among these high peaks of New Mexico…one more backcountry ski today and then it’s back to LA…
all sorts of fun stuff coming up for DL in the next few days…come back daily!
