1) Run at least a few miles along the Mesa Trail, heading south from Chatauqua Park Trailhead

I am going to be in Boulder visiting good friends this weekend with my family. Any must-sees or dos you’d recommend? Can’t wait to soak-up the CHI!!!!

Precious HSBG,
Well, here is what you get for asking…
let’s see how many of these you can knock off and still have a few m(om)ents for your family!
2) Attempt the MONKEY TRAVERSE on Flagstaff Mountain (V4 for endurance)
3) Ride the headwall section of the Morgul Bismark!
4) Hang out at Neptune Mountaineering and gawk at the world-class climbers filing in and out of that iconic chill…
5) …then get your friends to walk Pearl Street,
6) …eat sushi, have saké at Hapa Sushi…
7) …and a nightcap at the Catacombs Bar in the historic Boulderado Hotel but be careful of the Boulder nightlight (trust me) cuz, you gotta…
8) wake up early to crank an uphill running Time Trial up my old testpiece; Mt. Sanitas (1,255′ in 1.5 miles!)
9) reward yourself with a killer breakfast at the one of a kind; Dots Diner (used to be in an old gas station north of the Pearl Street Mall!)
10) enjoy afternoon perfect climbing on my old free-solo sandstone nirvana on The Wind Tower in Eldorado Canyon, be sure to send the Tagger roof!
dang, we’re already at Number 10? dat’s my ol’ town, baby!…there is sooo much fun and fitness in that great little front range city; BOULDER CRANKS!
enjoy,
the old boy of Boulder
