Greetings transpersonal fitness warriors. Mike “Maha Manas” Singer here … writing at Coach Ilg’s request.
We’d both like to apologize for the lack of updates to DL over the past two weeks. Ilg was trying. He wrote nice posts, with pictures and everything. They just wouldn’t post! As a longtime WF student and the new WF tech guru, I was trying too. Apparently too hard, in fact … because the solution eventually turned out to be a really simple one once I accepted that some passwords had mysteriously changed. A few easy cut and pastes to reconnect Blogger to an FTP server, and voila, DL is back.
That explanation may make sense to the tech savvy amongst us, but Coach always attributes these sorts of technical glitches to “tests” from the Ancient Masters. No matter what you personally believe, there’s a valuable lesson here.
Whenever you’re feeling challenged, you have a choice: effort or struggle? Over many years on this path, I’ve learned that all it usually takes to move from struggle to effort is a shift in perspective, a reframing of the situation. It’s at once as easy and as challenging as turning on a light in a dark room. Easy, because you just flip the switch. Challenging, because first you have to find the switch!
Since 1985, Direct Lines has been an essential tool Coach uses to transmit the “Rasas” or “sap” of Wholistic Fitness® to his most committed students. So when the technology fails, it’s a big deal.
Thank you for your patience, and for your continued support of WF through your subscription to DL. Hang in there … some great stuff is coming. I’m working with Coach to totally overhaul the online aspects of Wholistic Fitness, and we have some really cool things planned.
Until then, enjoy this renewed “direct line” to Noble Ilg.
To help ward off future glitches as we work toward flipping an even bigger switch, I’m posting a photo of a Nepalese mask I have hanging in my house. That there is Mahakala … a wrathful Tibetan deity who protects monasteries and homes from evil … and now DL too!
