Noble HP Yogic Warriors –

“Have quiet times in your fitness program.

Meditation fuses inner and outer selves allowing receipt and experience of the Divine.

Meditation is Equanimity.”

– Wholistic Fitness Sutra #14

TOTAL BODY TRANSFORMATION

by Steve Ilg

i just wanted to send a special Love Note out to those brave warrioresses

(nope, NO guys are showing up these days, what does THAT tell you?)

who are showing up for my Zen/DharmaTalks on Sunday evenings.

All physical exercise, if done consciously, will inevitably point the Way inward.

To sit still

and listen

purely

and honestly

to the chatter of your undisciplined mind

is where the Real Workout…

The Real Yoga

lies.

that is why i offer my Zen/DharmaTalks every Sunday evening at my HP Yoga Studio.

if you missed tonight’s session, you missed my talk on “Gaining a Higher Perspective; The Secret Always Lies Within.”

that was about my 20th DharmaTalk at my Studio.

what is more important to you?

Laker’s games?

a “Reality TV show?”

the Real Game

the Real Reality Show

is within the chaos of your undisciplined mind

and you know it.

c’mon, Player…

Play the Real Game:

It takes strength to sit still.

The greatest of all strengths.

Any movement – trust me, i’m an expert in world-class movement – is entertaining to the ego.

But sitting still?

That takes strength.

I am paying attention to who shows up to sit still.

I know how easy ENTER-tainment is.

but

what i came Here for is to teach you

INNER-attain-ment.

i bow

to my noble Zen Warriors who show up

on Sunday evenings…

the people who show up for the sweat and fun of the asana classes are great…

but you Zen Sitters?

you are my heroes.

that is all.

my next email…some class adjustments this week because I and Joy are teaching

a ski/yoga workshop at June Mountain this weekend.

have a great week.

may you find your Highest Yoga Practice

within the comings and goings of your day…

love endlessly,

your feeble teacher
