“Gradually, as you remain open and mindful, and use a technique to focus your mind more and more, your negativity will slowly be defused; you begin to feel well in your own skin, or, as the French say, tre bien dans sa peau (well in your own skin). From this comes release and a profound ease. I think of this practice as the most effective form of therapy and self-healing.”- Sogyal Rinpoche
WF Online Student Steve Orr, atop what looks to my eye if i can recall, the second pitch
of Bastille Crack in my old “office” of Eldorado Canyon, Colorado. I love Student Orr, who used to live here in the San
Fernando Valley of LA. I bow you, Noble Ambulance Warrior Orr…you are a hero to me. Noble DL Readers,
please listen to the beautiful words of Student Orr below. If ANYONE knows about being Elegant in Difficulty, it is those whose jobs it is to save lives whenever possible. Thank you Student Orr, for choosing to Study Online within our humble Temple of WF! (Student Orr takes Online WF Training under Teacher Sheader).

Ilg-
You’re the best, bro. I really appreciate and honor you for taking the time to respond to my question. I also honor and support you in your path. It’s often difficult for me to be grateful for the lessons life is teaching me, when I’m in the “middle of it.” I usually bitch and moan, and can only see the lesson in hindsight.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about “Elegance in Difficulty,” particularly in how it applies to my professional life. I knew that when I accepted the opportunity be a Field Instructor on a busy ambulance, I would learn a lot personally and professionally. It has been a wonderful opportunity to learn and to practice principles. Those simple phrases “Elegance in difficulty” and “don’t buy into the drama,” which I practice in the yoga studio can be practiced anytime, anywhere. Thank you for the inspiration and guidance. You absolutely measure up to what you preach.
Love, Student Orr
