Rest in natural great peace
This exhausted mind
Beaten helpless by karma and neurotic thought,
Like the relentless fury of the pounding waves
In the infinite ocean of samsara.
Rest in natural great peace.

photo 1) La Canyon Grande. such a powerful vortex. i am planning an epic spiritual fitness endeavor involving the Grand Canyon late this fall. you guys are gonna LOVE this one! still crazy after all these years! stay tuned and be sure to take pilgrimage to the Mother Canyon soon. photo; Temple archives

photo 2) the sincerity of Ananda, the strength of her practice, the infinite grace and caliber of her talents, and her immemorial radiance. what Warrior – man or woman – cannot help fall in love with her? you should see how beautiful Ananda is caring for our baby girl’s placenta. right now, it’s all about feeding and nurturing the placenta. the baby visualizations and nurturing comes later. you know us in this Temple; first things first. don’t skip First Base. right now, First Base is the care and feeding of the placenta. amazing how many Mothers to be are not in world class training for their own baby or the delivery of it! i mean, i train beyond belief hard for ultra-endurance races, yet giving birth is soooo ultra endurance; yet all these Non-Practicing Mothers To Be just kinda schlep through their pregnancy as if labor is not to be trained for! no wonder why they call it ‘labor’! so many mothers say delivery is so hard; perhaps they did not train wisely or strong enough for it! i’ve had the great honor to help train many Mothers for pregnancy and delivery. we don’t call it, ‘labor’ – we call it; one Divine Heaven of a Workout! Intensity can be Blissful. But you gotta train INTENSELY to See It that way. “Devote yourself to difficulty to be freed from it.” – WF Maxim since 1982. photo by WF Master Student Shawna.

photo 3) breathing into the depths of “Calming The Dragon” Ai Imawa posture at Montezuma Lake. In a world where idiotic addiction to drama and entertainment are ruining our own Planet and thus species, we in WF are often disdained by the common man because we are doing our best to cultivate inner-attainment and our Higher Self. When confronted by the 10,000 Things, we WF Warriors are taught to Practice what yogis know as Vairagya or dispassion. in other words, Just Breathe through those Dragons that are trying to tempt you lower, stress you out or the many things that make you want to scream in anger or frustration. then, roll up your sleeves, attend to the M(om)ent and get back to Serving and Protecting the Dharma in any way you can. photo by Ananda.
