It’s an honor and privilege to join your Direct Lines. Let me quickly introduce myself…

COACH:

STUDENT:
– I’m a “crazy french canuck” living up north in the Ottawa area (Ontario, Canada)
– I’m 42 years old, 6′ and 182 pounds
– I bought your Total Body Transformation book, during Christmas, two years ago
– I also purchased and regularly practice your HP Prop yoga and HP Yoga DVDs
– I used to practice volleyball (indoor and outdoor), tennis and was a regular practitioner of Bikram Yoga until a severe herniated disk (L5-S1 sciatica) stopped all my activities in January 2006. I’m let to believe that the injury was the result of previous knee problems (I had three arthroscopies to remove lose cartilage), poor cross-training, lack of flexibility, body misalignments and poor supervision and feedback during my Bikram yoga sessions.

COACH:
like i have told my students for 25 years;
The WF Path works,
when YOU work the Path!

STUDENT:
– Your HP Prop Yoga DVD has been a true path to wealth but what a challenge it was initially!

COACH:
i created this Path as a Steep and Direct Challenge to access our Highest Self and thus, gain the Loving Power of our Inner Guru…not until we know our Inner Guru can we EVER meet our Outer Guru…so, expect the Challenge of WF never, ever to let up until Enlightenment. This Path is a genuine Trek Following The Footsteps of the Ancient Masters…go(o)d luck and don’t ever give up, okay? just keep doing your best; one step at a Conscious Time….

STUDENT:
Man I did sweat quit a lot. I still have difficulties cranking all the push-ups and the half-pigeon asana is progressing very, very SLOWLY. But I can manage all the other asanas.

COACH:
that ‘sweat’ is known as Prasveda in yoga and comes initially from the attempt to control the breath. Mastery of breath is everything in yoga; the dance of mastering the breath will be a lifelong one in many, many Levels…so, pace yourself! don’t hurt yourself again like you did in Bikram Yoga. pushing is not yoga. practicing is.


STUDENT:
Your HP Basic Strength yoga DVD is even more difficult because of my lack of hip flexibility.

COACH:
Yoga is only difficult due to our inability to control the fluctuations of the mind. the flexibility component of yoga is not the ‘real’ yoga. a supple, controllable mind is what makes our bodies become more supple and controllable.

STUDENT:
Coach, I can’t even sit on the floor and cross my legs to do a triangle shape with my legs. Even on a yoga block!

COACH:
GrassHopper; do not EVER tell yourself that you “can’t”.
instead just tell yourself that you ‘currently have not developed my fitness to…”
never, EVER tell yourself you “can’t” do something! what if i told myself that when i was paralyzed!?! Develop Faith in yourself by way of purity of steadfast Practice (abhyasa)

STUDENT:
– I do the HP Prop Yoga twice/week and the HP Yoga once/week
– I’m taking on a new challenge: KiteBoarding. But I’m really scared…

COACH:
it is go(o)d to be a little afraid;
it is Bardo Training.

STUDENT:
Coach, I want to start the Green Tara program and have this conundrum:

I would love keep doing the HP prop yoga but the programs refer to other yoga asanas. What would be your recommendations for following both the HP Prop yoga and High Performance Yoga in a weekly schedule during the Green Tara and Cosmic Yang journeys?

COACH:
Noble Student;
take the curriculum. do not superimpose your ‘wants’ onto the Proven Path; at least for the first few years. Or, join ONLINE TRAINING so i can appropriately monitor your progress. however, those programs in TBT are carefully designed to move you appropriately higher at a wise, natural level. besides, that SOLO TIME spent with the Yoga Programs in TBT are absolutely VITAL to your own Self Cultivation. do not become addicted to Yoga DVD’s and the cheerleading provided by them. go WITHIN, Noble Warrior and sweat in SILENCE!

STUDENT:
Finally, a bit of wisdom from you would be greatly appreciated for the following:

My wife stopped all physical activities because of a Achilles tendon chronic injury resulting from tennis and volleyball.

COACH:
your wife got Injured because of a lack of Wholistic Fitness; not tennis and volleyball.
both of those sports are
1) lateral movement emphasized
and
2) lateral dominant.
they produce Imbalance, not Balance, in the body/mind.
thus, a WF Program needs to be followed to bring Balance and eventually, far, far greater power and elegance to your wife’s playing capacities.

her Achilles Tendon produced an In(ner) Jury (aka; InJury) so that she would LISTEN to her body. sounds like she is not Listening. few people do. instead, they blame their bodyparts for failing and try to ‘fix it’ so that they can return to their Imbalanced ways!

STUDENT:
It’s been a year now and she tried almost everything from both traditional and alternative medicines.


COACH:
She has not tried a WF Online Consultation or Online Training…that is why she is still injured for so long!

STUDENT:
The official diagnosis is a tendinitis.

COACH:
and who is doing the OFFICIATING?!
only Brahman is the Official of Life!

STUDENT:
Fortunately the tendon is not ruptured. Would you have a mini-rehab program or few asanas to suggest for her to slowly gain strength? She uses her bike to commute without much pain and practice Pilates.

COACH:
of course i do.
